anarchei replied to your post: Saw a kid begging to go to a game store in the mall today.
Because treating a child like a slave will not turn them into statist apologists. Oh wait…
It’s the beginning of a really bad cycle. Kids are bred in to dependence.
Saw a kid begging to go to a game store in the...
I’m not sure how old he was, but it was obvious he was just getting to learn to talk well, and his mom said “not another word out of you” It’s funny, a few months ago that kid would have been praised endlessly for knowing how to say games, but quickly the paradigm shifted from “wow you can talk do it some more” to “don’t talk at all unless we ask...
Cops have been trained to spot seat belt violations day or night and cops...
– Traffic and Safety Administration commercial First of all, seat belt violations don’t hurt anyone but the person committing them. People always love to make the claim that victimless crimes have indirect victims, but seat belt violations lack even that. The only POSSIBLE victim (and I...

Something I think is right and I can't believe so...
bogus information from questionable at best sources backing up insane claim *arguments from people with reasonable counter claims explaining how something may have been missed* *claims that those people lack common sense and can’t read*
The big take away from my last post: Politicians can’t even be honest about lying.

I’m not familiar with precisely what I said, but I stand by what I said,...
– Mitt Romney Wait, so he stands by things he used to say just because he said them? This is actually contrary to his comment about how he was willing to etch-a-sketch his opinions. In the most unsettling political irony in decades, Mitt Romney claiming to be consistent is, in fact, inconsistent.

“Our communities are depressingly polluted, social services are being cut left and right and hunger is very real right here in America. So hearing that the United States government spends $20 billion in Afghanistan each year on air conditioning alone stings just a little. When...

I'm getting ready to discuss actual politics are...
No doubt that a key issue in this campaign as it pushes on will be Mitt Romney’s alleged bullying incident.
The one that seems to be getting less attention that I would like to see brought up is the Obama bullying incident.
You’re probably asking how I could want a campaign issue brought up when I hate the idea of campaigns and campaign issues with all my heart and soul. The answer...

A request to all of my wonderful followers
If tumblr’s war on missing-e hinders your blogging experience in any way (even if it doesn’t really matter and just proves how childish Karpster is being) send any info about it my way. I’m making it a personal vendetta of mine.

15 Ways You Are Probably Wrong About Anarchists,...
a-goofy-goober:
1. We don’t want to turn your government anarchist. That makes as much sense as accusing you of wanting to dye your hair “bald”.
2. We get it, there’s no historical precedent. That tends to be a common problem with new things, yet new things are created every day.
3. We don’t expect utopia. If you think that’s what we’re after, maybe it says more about your idea of the...

I’m really starting to question Libertarianism lately. I mean, I’ve always questioned it, but this time my questions are leading me to a place where I don’t know if I can identify as a Libertarian any longer. Mostly, when debating with people on topic, I have to retain my sense of imagination that people in a Libertarian society would be more moral than the folk of our state-controlled...

I see. In this I think we can agree. I’m not big on conspiracy theories and the like. They can be fun sometimes but they are a mere distraction from what is important: Philosophy. Plus, it’s Harry Potter. Come on.
It all depends on what you count in that set. I mean, some “conspiracy theories” are quite valid it...

I don’t think I’ve ever come across anything he’s said where I think he’s taken it too far. I’m curious, what don’t you agree with and where do you think he’s gone too far?
Some of the things he says about cultural indoctrination, like when he did the whole video about Harry Potter being about a child who was...

What do you think of Stefan Molyneux?
I think of him a lot like I think of Ayn Rand. A lot of the philosophy is great, but every once in a while he says something that I just absolutely can’t agree with, and sometimes I think he takes things too far.

Your views on copyright/trademark/patents, would they exist in a free society? Do you think children have positive rights?
Well, let me start by saying this, to avoid confusion later, I’m not in favor of government enforced IP. Especially in cases of new inventions, medical advances,...

lol ok what about the bildeburg or whatever that’s called.
From all I can tell about it, it really is just a forum to exchange ideas, and while it does involve some government officials, I think it’s cute when they at least try to look like they care what people want.

Like build-a-bear workshop? Pretty interesting business model, but very cool concept, and a great way to personalize a gift. If you want to make a friend FOR a friend or maybe something more, come to build a bear workshop this holiday season...
